Obstructed stop sign another danger at Butterfly intersection

Jackson, NJ -  This week, I recieved a few negative comments for taking pictures of the most recent accident.   What’s worse is that those who cried foul, usually were the ones to say “if he didn’t run the stop sign, there would be no accident”.      These comments here, serve a major injustice to Mr. Marcellin Ciaglia, who lost his life that day.    People were very quick to place the blame on him and others who have been involved in accidents at this intersection.

Here is an image of Butterfly road going across to Grand Blvd., opposite of the direction being travelled.

Once again, if you feel that this road should be improved and conditions made safer, please contact Mr. John Bartlett, OC Freeholder Director at (732) 244-2121 and express your concerns to him.   Once again, I ask that you be respectful when contacting Mr. Bartlett as he is a very sincere person who has served Ocean County for many many years and is one of the people responsible for making our county such a great place to live.
