Halloween is almost here and it’s time to start looking for costumes.. for your dogs. I never knew such a thing existed until I saw this doggie quarterback costume and thought it was amazing. Of course I would never be caught buying one of these let alone putting my dogs through the torture of wearing one of these.
So I kept looking around and found the top 10 Dog Costumes of 2009!
1. Football Fever - A doggie football uniform that makes it look like the dog is standing up ready to throw a pass. It’s cute. It’s funny. It’s insane and your dog should bite your ankle if you try to put this on him or her.
2. Costume Daddy - This falls into the realm of WTF? Is it a pimp dog? A confused dog? Not sure, but you have to have some sort of special bond to want to dress your dog in this.
3. Clown Dog - Since we’re making our dogs look as ridiculous as possible, lets just go all out and spare no expense to break their fragile egos. No dog lover would do this to their dog.
4. Lobster Dog - Are you kidding me? If you’re going to get a costume for your pet.. which you shouldn’t be doing, at least do something creative like football dog or clown dog. This one looks like it’s just a blanket thrown on your dog. Why bother?
5. Cheerleader Dog - But if you really hate your dog just go and dress her up in this absurd cheerleader costume.
6. Harem Dog - Don’t laugh. I think in my life I have known people who would buy this costume for the wrong reasons. Not only is it ridiculous looking, it’s a bit creepy.
7. Shrek Dog - I’ll admit when I first saw this dog costume, I did laugh. Not because it’s funny or cute, but because of all the captions I thought that could go along with it.
8. Jailhouse Dog - Not sure if this would look good on a dog that’s not white. I looked for the ball and chain accessory to go with it, but couldn’t find one.
9. Dorothy Dog - There’s no place like home. That is unless you’re a dog and your owner decides to dress you up in this.
10. The Hot Dog - Lets run the cliche further into the ground.
