Toms River, NJ - The girls of Jackson Pop Warner took to the stage at the Ritacco Center in Toms River Saturday morning to participate in the annual Shining Stars Cheer Expo, hosted by the Toms River Little Indians.
Three Jackson flag football cheer squads performed in front of a packed 4,000 seat Ritacco Center. The annual expo, for the flag girls is an introduction to cheer competitions and is not judged. All girls participating recieve a cheer medal and a team trophy is awarded for each participating team.
All three of our teams performed outstanding routines and were cheered on loudly by the crowd. The girls have all been tirelessly practicing their routines for several hours per week since the beginning of August and their performance was a reflection of the hard work and dedicaiton put forth by the girls, their coaches and the more senior cheerleaders who assisted the girls develop the routines.
The tournament marks the half way point in the flag football season with just 4 weeks remaining. See Photos of the three flag squads below.
