Jackson, NJ – On Saturday, Jackson Township held its annual Jackson Day Festival, a celebration of the town, its people and their accomplishments. It’s also a day to get out and meet your Jackson neighbors and help support local charities and non-profit groups.
This year, Jackson Day’s theme was a classic one, a throwback to the classic 1960’s. The event was headlined by Emil Stucchio and the Classics on stage performing retro-hits of an era gone by. The Hollywood Night Cruisers also held a classic car show and there was fun, food, prizes and rides a plenty.
Mayor Reina said of Jackson Day “This year, we made it more family fun focused than in previous years. Look at all the families here with their kids. This is great. This is what it’s supposed to be about”.
Indeed it was a fun family day and a fun day for the whole community.
