Cruise ship accident: Two cruise ships collide near Cozumel Mexico

Cozumel, Mexico – An accident has occured on the high seas in the Caribbean. On September 30th, as the the Carinval Legend and Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas cruise liners were pulling out of Cozumel, the two ships collided in extremely high winds. The Enchangement of the Seas was docked when the Carnival Legend plowed into the stern of the ship.
While sustaining minor damage, Royal Caribbean there were no intinerary changes and the cruise continued despite damages to the stern of the ship and some railings. The Carnival Legend also sustained minor damage to open deck areas.
The 2,124 passengers were on the Legend and 2,252 passengers were on the Enchantment of the Seas.
