Jackson, NJ – This weekend, the Jackson Pop Warner Club will be hosting games in the preliminary round of the Division 1 Pop Warner Football playoffs.     Jackson was chosen to be host of these regional playoffs which will draw fans from the Mid Atlantic states because of the state of the art turf field and amenities offered by the township and Jackson Pop Warner Club.

If you’re a Brooklyn Transplant living in Jackson, you can come out and cheer on your old neighbors  as three teams from the New York City borough will be plaing consecutive games.

Unfortunately, Jackson’s teams were eliminated from competition this past weekend after winning the Jersey Shore Conference Championships at the Pee Wee and Midget levels.

For fans teams coming to Jackson, don’t forget to grab a bite to eat at one of Jackson’s many restaurants at Jackson Crossings on your way out, just a mile from the field.  Enjoy Fan’s Pub and Grill,  numerous italian restaurants, the shore’s famous eatery, Surf Taco or the nostalgic Jackson Diner all within minutes from the field!

This weekend’s Division 1 Playoff Schedule at the Jackson Pop Warner Complex:

9:00am   PEEWEE Rahway Chiefs  vs. East Ward Stallions
11:00am MIDGET  Rahway Chiefs vs. Central Ward, NJ Rams
3:00pm   PW            Brooklyn Falcons vs. Charm City, MD Buccaneers
5:00pm   JRPW        Brooklyn Saints vs. Charm City, MD Buccaneers
7:00pm   MIDGET   Brooklyn Pitbulls vs. Cherry Hill, MD Eagles
