If MTV’s Jersey Shore wasn’t your cup of tea because of how it portrayed New Jersey, then you’ll surely flip out when you watch Guido Beach, a YouTube documentary made in March 2009 which documents life at the Jersey Shore.

The show takes place at the Surf Club in Ortley Beach, N.J. and interviews many club goers and unlike Jersey Shore, these ‘guidos’ are all from New Jersey.  In the video, you’ll hear New Jersey residents embarrass themselves with things like “We live in Jersey which is one of the best states in New Jersey”.

Mixed in the usual stereotypical “guidos”, we find 21 year old Jen from Short Hills who refers to her town as “Jewville”, complaining about being the only Italian girl.  Luckily for Jen from Short Hills, she was surrounded by Juiceheads to take home with her at the end of the night.

She was later joined by her mom who was grinded by her daughter’s new boyfriend, but gave her blessing because “She’s gotta sleep with him not me”.    However the romance was cut short by her ex-boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend and a fight broke out.

While the MTV show Jersey Shore has been accused of fabricating lies about the Jersey “guido”, “Guidos” shows real life New Jersey residents who descend upon our great beaches and provide media outlets like MTV with can’t miss television.

None of the people in either show are actually from the Jersey Shore.  Well, except for Amy, but she probably just moved here.
