Jackson, NJ -- Local cheerleaders have started their trek down to Orlando, Florida this week as three cheer squads from the Jackson Jaguar Pop Warner Club are in the running for a national title.     In 2008, the Jackson Jaguar Pee Wee and Junior Midget squads won the national championship.

The competition takes place at Disney’s Wide World of Sports from December 7th to December 11th.

The Cheer & Dance Championships will feature over 400 cheer/dance squads who will compete at the four-day long event. Cheer and dance squads compete in four different age ranges (Jr. Pee Wee, Pee Wee, Jr. Midget, and Midget), as well as two squad sizes (Small and Large) and three competition categories (Novice, Intermediate and Advanced)
