Virgin Galactic modernizes and commercializes space travel

Virgin Galactic is offering would be space travellers an experience like no other with their plan for commercial space travel.  Sir Richard Branson, chairman of the Virgin Group hopes people will soon be making sub orbital space flights over 100 kilometers above earth as an alternative to conventional passenger planes.    The company claims they are now in the final stretch of becoming the world’s first commercial “space line”.    Using sub orbital flights, it is possible to fly from New York to Tokyo in a matter of just a couple hours.
