On February 2nd, the Board of Directors voted to participate in Little League’s Pilot 50/70 program for the 2010 season. The pilot program would be open to children with a league age of 12 or 13. Depending on the response to this program, we may play in-house or as an inter-league schedule against other District 18 teams (Barnegat, Beachwood, Berkeley, Brick, Holbrook, Lacey, Lakewood, Manchester, Toms River, Toms River East). Registration fees for this pilot program will be $75.

Registration date for 50/70 and other divisions (Feb 13 10am-1pm) Registration for the 50/70 division will be held on Sat. Feb 13th at the Little League Clubhouse on East Veterans Highway from 10am to 1pm. This will be the FINAL registration for the 2010 season. Other registrations will be accepted during this sign-up. Any registration received after the 13th will be accessed a let fee.

Player evaluations (ages 9-12) to be held Feb 20th at Liberty HS Due to decreased enrollment in the Major Division, we anticipate that the total number of teams will be reduced from 9 teams to 8 teams. Because of this contraction, we will be re-drafting the entire Major League Division and players will be required to attend the player evaluations on Sat Feb20th at Jackson Liberty High School. 12’s will report at 9:00 am 11’s will report at 10:30 am 10’s will report at 12:00
