At 8:30pm Tuesday, snow began accumulating at Jackson Liberty High School

Jackson, NJ – No, Jackson Schools will be closed on Wednesday.  Jackson Township Schools Superintendent Tom Gialanella called it at tonight’s Board of Education meeting at Jackson Memorial High School.  Schools will be closed on Wednesday due to the impending snow storm which arrived just minutes before the 8:30pm announcement.   6-10 inches of snow are expected to fall before sunrise with up to 20 inches forcasted for Jackson on some weather services.  This past weekend, the school district cleared over a foot of school to ensure schools were clear to open Tuesday morning.    On just one day’s rest they are getting ready to do it all over again.

Footprints lead in and out of Jackson Liberty High School just minutes after the first snowflakes began to fall.
