The Little People Happy Sounds Home is a charming new playset that allows little girls to discover their very first home and provides them with tons of toddler-appropriate activities. Playset folds open to reveal plenty of rooms on 2 levels, plus activities and fun sounds to keep them busy. Start the day in the kitchen with open/close refrigerator, where Mom and Dad sit at the table with place setting detail, while baby sits in her very own high-chair. They relax in the living room, complete with ringing telephone-just press down to activate. On to the laundry room next–press down on the washer/dryer unit for realistic machine sound effects. Now it’s bathtime-head over to the bathroom for baby’s bath. Press down on the tub for bubble and bathtime sound effects and lift the toilet seat to hear it flush. Activity play happens outside too-ring the doorbell at the front and spin the disk on the roof to scroll through fun images. And after a busy day of play, this family is ready for bed. Place baby in her swinging basinet, then put Mom and Dad in bed–sweet dreams.

“Stop and go,” thats what riding the school bus is all about. That and enjoying the bumpy, “wiggly-wobbly” ride, of course! This cute bus will appeal to every toddler and preschooler who has gazed longingly out the window as the big kids board the big yellow bus, off to exotic destinations unknown. Measuring 12 inches long and half again as wide, the durable plastic bus rolls through town, jostling the passengers with the aforementioned “wiggly-wobbly” action. Push down on driver Carlos and see flashing lights, plus hear the “Stop and Go” song, beeping horns, giggling children, and commentary from the driver (“Everyone sit down lets go to school!” etc.). The bus includes driver, two passengers, a wheelchair for one of the riders, a swiveling stop sign, a door that opens, and easy access through the roof for children to play with the figures. Musical Toy Grows with Your Child While we love all of the musical features of this toy, we especially like that the Sing-Along Stage is designed to grow with your child, which means that your child will get a lot of use out of it while making new discoveries as they get older. The toy stands at the perfect height for six-month-old babies to play with while sitting. They will enjoy looking at themselves in the large picture window, watching the blinking lights, and experimenting with the cause and effect features of the buttons. Our two-year-old toy tester also enjoyed this toy — she loved dancing and singing along with the songs. The toy requires just a little bit of adult assembly, which is where we encountered our only problem: the legs need to be screwed on to the toy to allow it to stand, but the holes for the included screws were not sized properly. This made it difficult for us to manually tighten the screws satisfactorily. However, the toy was still able to stand sturdily for safe play. “Ready for take-off here we go!” Diminutive pilots in training can let their imagination take flight with this stocky, swooshy, wiggly-wobbly airplane. Measuring 12 inches nose to tail, and 8 inches from wingtip to wingtip, this sturdy plastic plane features a pilot, two passengers, a piece of luggage, a door that opens, six windows, including the pilots windshield, a handle over the cut-out top, working wheels (which make the pilot and passengers go up and down as if encountering turbulence), and the obligatory face on the front of the craft. Push down on the pilot in her seat (yes, her seat we are in the 21st century, you know!) for flashing lights, a tune, flight attendant commentary, and swooshing airplane sounds. Judging from the outfits of the passengers and the palm tree design on the wings, this aircraft seems to be headed for a tropical port–airport, that is. Whats not to love?
